any way to watch this since projectalpha is closing down? Just found this and I'm excited to watch and I know I can find an audio of it but watching these things are always so much better

I wish they would focus more on GOLDRUSH instead of putting time and resources towards a tv show. The podcast made we’re alive and they should stick to that until it gets more attention I mean the podcast has great reviews And that’s what everyone loves

I have said this before, but if Project Alpha had an app of some sort. On Roku, on my Phone, something. I would be more likely to subscribe. The fact that it is limited to web use only, is why I haven't signed up. I watch YouTube and Twitch on their apps on Roku, and I would watch Project Alpha that way too
Landon Dastrup (6 months ago)
+Leigh 5744 not seeing it on Roku

Alpha is five bucks a month for a lot of really good shows. You should consider it.
Rico Sandard (6 months ago)
Im still waiting for the day they post we're alive frontier to YouTube (love you guys, but screw alpha) Luckily for me, I got we're alive podcast to catch up on.

It kind of feels like people lip syncing comedically to a poorly written fan fic. These aren't actors, this isn't a script.
Zane Game (6 months ago)
Spoiler: And then Asher dies in a complete bullshit way -_- sorry, but I'm not cool with bs rulings in the game.
Rodmar (6 months ago)
+Carsten Friis If you drop a show after hearing one spoiler you didn't really like it after all. Just sayin. Dropping it due to time constraints is a much more legitimate reason, I did so with Critical Role. Shit is just too long.
Carsten Friis (6 months ago)
@Rodmar. No, I actually don't think it's overreacting. I don't know about you, but I don't have a huge amount of free time to watch every single show that I want, so I have to be at least somewhat selective in regards to which movies and shows I want to watch, which podcasts I want to listen to, and which books I want to read. I loved the podcast "we're alive", so this show has been on my "want to watch" list, since it was announced, but it's not like these episodes are the length of the average comedy episode (Roughly 22 minutes) og the length of the average drama series episode (roughly 40 minutes). Each episode is longer than your average movie, so it is quite a time commitment. So when an a**hole in a comments section exclaim (without a spoiler tag), that not only is one of the main characters gonna die, but also which character it is, then it completely removes the surprise/shock effect of the death. I'm not one of those people who doesn't care that he's seen or heard spoilers from a movie, show, book, etc. and I can't just shrug it off. In my opinion, spoilers ruins the experience and takes away my enjoyment of the movie, show, book, etc. This a**hole is clearly not happy with the death of the character or the game (based on his comment), so it could very well be that he intended to ruin the experience for someone else. He definitely succeeded in removing it from my "want to watch" list.
Rodmar (6 months ago)
+Carsten Friis skiping a show because of something like this is a bit of overreaction though, ain't it?
Carsten Friis (6 months ago)
The death of one of the main characters is "barely" a spoiler? Seriously? That is your justification for posting spoilers without a spoiler tag, in a video that tries to encourages people to catch up with the first season of a show (or start it), because the second season is gonna start soon? You're such a f'ing a**hole.
Zane Game (6 months ago)
Carsten Friis It was BARELY a spoiler man, literally it happens pretty much at the beginning. And people spoiled in the comments before I did so if I didn't say anything you still would've seen it. You're welcome for saving you the trouble

+Kc Wayland I cant wait for Goldrush!!! Im glad this universe is still going on and finally i see other people who know this too! I love the entire series so much >u<
Kc Wayland (6 months ago)
+OneInchDeep Here to help! And thank you! We have Frontier here which is one storyline, and then Goldrush will be coming soon on our podcast side, so lots more in store and in the works. Hope you enjoy season 2! If you watch closely over the next few years there will be more strings that connect the worlds. They are all cannon (or canon?) to the world, so it's always expanding.
OneInchDeep (6 months ago)
Thanks, I need to get back into this, I absolutely loved your original We're Alive

So all that stuff that happened in LA still happened, and this series, WA Frontier, takes place 17 years after the outbreak, after they've established essentially a barrier along the Mississippi there is still a lot of usable land out in the area to the West which is now called "The Frontier". The infected have continued to evolve from their previous forms, continuing to breed over those years, and highly adapting to their environments. Since the infected have a flexible genome, they have branched off considerably from one another, forming their own social structures. Many of them have yet to be seen by human eyes because they are more dangerous now. There are up to 4th and 5th generations now. As for this story, there are farms out on the frontier that are still functioning and provide a large amount of food to the UA (The safe territories to the east of the Miss). The rail line to the north that kept the trade going has been attacked by infected at the river and now this group is forced to try and find a solution and re-establish a line to the farms. Asher Emerson Stern III takes a group of mercs to help establish the line in Season 1 of Frontier, and this is where he decides to do so.

Hey is this from that podcast? I used to listen to that all the time!
Xi-Xi Kaisoku (4 months ago)
+DavyDave1313 from what I can tell it takes place in the same universe but its further in time and its on the east part of the US instead of the west coast

I still don't really get that end. Was it a bad dice or Asher's player leaving? It seems a bit random since it was just one of five wound threshold.
