The Magic - Day 11
Having a positive morning ritual is so important and at the beginning of each day...gratitude is magic ingredient to start your day right. Have you ever noticed when you wake up on the wrong side of the bed, how everything bad just snowballs? For example, you stub your toe on the bed, the toothpaste flies out of the tube all over your clothes, the hair dryer quits on you, you burn the toast, you get stuck in traffic or your car breaks down, you get to work and spill coffee all over you, your boss yells at you, and the list goes on and on.
Well, the same goes for having a terrific day! You wake up refreshed, say what you're grateful for, get your workout in and you're feeling good, your breakfast tastes extra good, you look fantastic as every hair is in place and you're smile lights up the room, every traffic light is green, you get a great parking space wherever you go, you get a promotion or at the very least a song of praise from those you're around, you receive unexpected money, and the list goes on... Super powerful! :)
"When you arise in the morning think of what a privilege it is to be alive, to think, to enjoy, to love." ~Marcus Aurelius (121-180) Roman Emperor
Magic Practice Number 11:
A Magic Morning
1) When you wake up to the new day, before you do a single thing, say the magic words, thank you.
2) From the moment you open your eyes until you've finished getting ready, say the magic words, thank you, in your mind for everything you touch and use.
3) Count Your Blessings: Make a list of ten blessings. Say why you're grateful. Reread your list, and at the end of each blessing say thank you, thank you, thank you, and feel as grateful for each blessing as you can.
4) Just before you go to sleep tonight, hold your Magic Rock in one hand, and say the magic words, thank you for the best thing that happened during the day.
We love practicing this. It's probably one of the most important things we do and it should be for YOU too! Just try it and see the difference it makes. So powerful! ;)
