Skill needed: Knit & purl stitches, decreasing and knit in the round
Size: 3-6 months
Actual Head Circumference: 14.5-17 in
Finished Hat Circumference: Approx. 15.5 in
Finished Hat Height: Approx. 6.5 in
Gauge: 20 sts x 30 rows = 4" x 4" in Stocking sts
Needles: 16" US#6 (4 mm) circular needle, a set of US#6 (4 mm) double pointed needles, yarn needle, a crochet hook
Suggested Yarn: 100% Cotton, Category 4 medium worsted weight approx. 95 yds
Yarn I used in Pictures: Lily Sugar'n Cream 100% Cotton Color #2422 Aloe Vera and Color #00133 Shaded Denim
You can also use any cotton yarn or a needle size that gives you the right gauge.
Stitches I used & Abbreviations
K = Knit, P = Purl, YO = Yarn Over, K2tog = Knit-two-together
