Outlander | 4 Droughtlander: Rupert & Claire Extended Scene | STARZ
In terms of comedic scenes this is EASILY my favorite of season 1! I cannot tell you how many times I've watched this scene and I laugh everytime. I never thought Rupert and Angus would be my favorite supporting characters.
"The foul breath of that mad bastard on the back of your neck".
I love Rupert, he's hilarious with a great voice and Scottish accent. Just the way he said "boarrr", or told the waterhorse story. Thanks - but the scene could have been a wee bit longer to make up for the long wait, ye ken? :)
I think my favourite Rupert moment is on the wedding night... "well Jamie, how was yer first time? did ye bleed? brilliantly played. Also Angus's "we wurr just stopping by furra wee cuppa tea". Acting is outstanding by the whole cast.
Grant is doing such an amazing job as Rupert. Love him. :)
This isn't making the waiting period any easier but a lot more fun, I gotta admit. And Droughtlander? That's inspired and it made me laugh out loud. Well done, guys, well done. Y'know what would make all our lives so much better though? If it wouldn't take another FIVE months before the show comes back. Please? Pretty please? :'(
